This is a duo consisting of Keith Reding and Rocky Pirrello. We use backing tracks for drums and bass, and play guitar, keyboards, sax, pedal steel guitar, trumpet or whatever other instrument is needed to do the rest. In addition, we have outstanding vocals. You can link to the Red Rocks page, look here for dates, or check the Fast Eddies site for Saturday and Sunday afternoon gigs. You can also contact the duo from the contact link on the Planet Boogie site as it will go directly to Rocky (rocky@planetboogieband.com). |

Some of my oldest and dearest friends are still going strong with Fantasy, and if you check out Jim Manley's web site, he and other members are all over town every day in various acts, playing all styles of music. You can find any musical need imaginable on this site, and better musicians are hard to find. If you come to Fast Eddies to see Fantasy you'll not only see Mark Friedrichs, Jim Manley, Joe Weber, Ritchie Daniels, Charlie Boehme, and Larry Johnson, but Jenni Moser will be singing and Joe Bayer frequently sits in with Fantasy as well. Log on to the site for all kinds of music and information from Fantasy -- Wild Cool & Swingin' Orchestra -- Jim Manley duos and trios -- The Charlie B Group -- and don't forget to buy Jim Manley's CD's which are available through Amazon.com and iTunes. |

Don't mistake Sable for a "cover" band, they are so much more, with a growing catalog of original music, and appearances around the country in major venues promoting that music. All of this original music and more can be found on their site, along with a calendar of appearances. At Fast Eddies you can either see the duo of Jeff Sable and Mike Downing in the afternoon, or the full band which adds Chris Sable and Jake Hanselman for night-time appearances. Log on to their site for more information. |

If you have ever wanted to perform a song live, but needed a backing track for drums, or for bass & drums, then look no further than Jim McCarty. This is not karaoke, no synthesized drums here, these are real drums and bass guitar tracks so accurately played that you'd swear they were taken directly from the original recordings. Jim spares no effort nor expense in producing simply the best drum and bass backing tracks available... you provide the rest. Here's a link to his web site; www.drumandbasstracks.com have fun!... and if you wanna catch a quick glimpse of Jim, here's a YouTube link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPx7A45MYcU |

A friend to all musicians, GREG BISHOP is undertaking to chronicle the local music scene as far back as the 60's. Check out the site, and if you have anything to add, contact Greg and let him know. It'll be kinda like the Wikipedia of local St. Louis music, an ever-evolving collection of names, events, photos, video, and music. http://www.stlmusicyesterdays.com/ |
